The public is hereby informed that with effect from January 11^th 2010, the processing time for a visa application at the Embassy of Cameroon in Washington DC will be 7 (seven) business days.

The public is hereby informed that starting from January 13^th 2010, the Embassy of Cameroon in Washington DC will proceed with issuing the new Cameroonian Passport called "Machine-Readable Passport".

All those wishing to have the aforementioned travel document issued to them, or who seek information to this effect are kindly requested to consult the Embassy Website at www.cameroonembassyusa.org or to contact the Consular Section of the Embassy by e-mail at cs@cameroonembassyusa.org. They can also call (202) 265-8790, Ext. 20 or Ext. 33 to talk to a Consular Officer.
